Jewelery should always be treated with great care, regardless of the material. However, 925 silver can stain and it is normal for pieces with gold plating to lose their color. To maintain beauty and details, avoid exposing your pieces to salt water, chemicals and household products, cosmetics or perfumes that may damage the color. Also, do not expose your parts to extreme temperatures.

On the other hand, the packaging of the jewels is important and we advise you to always keep them in the original box or bag. Also avoid leaving the chains loose, as they can become entangled. In addition, it is important to clean your parts frequently with a soft cloth.

CERTIFICATION:

HLC products are legally certified by INCM - Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda, SA, due to being made of precious metals. All pieces are designed and made by hand in Portugal, with 925 sterling silver, 925 silver with gold plating, 9k gold and 18k gold. Unless stated, the pieces are made of 925 silver.

INCM provides this guarantee, verifying the legal touch (precious metals per thousand contained in an alloy) and the application of contrast with the responsibility mark, manufacturer or equivalent. Contrast application is mandatory only for silver pieces that weigh more than 2 grams and gold pieces that weigh more than 0.5 grams.

WARRANTY

HLC offers a one-year warranty on all its products from the date of purchase.

The warranty does not cover the cost when the damage is self-inflicted or due to normal wear and tear, loss of product, loss of stones or theft. The customer is obliged to check the products delivered immediately after arrival. If it appears that the product delivered is not the product ordered, or the product is inadequate or incomplete, the customer must immediately notify us of these defects by email. The return of the order must be in the original packaging (including boxes and documentation) and in new condition. If a customer's complaints are justified by HLC, we will give the customer the option of replacing products delivered free of charge or refunding it.

The warranty does not apply if:

• Discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, makeup, swimming pools, hot tubs or bath;
• The natural process of fading the coating in white rhodium or 24k yellow gold;
• The customer personally processed, repaired or modified the jewelry provided;
• The customer allows a third party to process, repair or modify the jewelry provided;
• The jewelry delivered was exposed to abnormal conditions, other careless procedures or contrary to HLC's instructions.
  Therefore, these repairs will be done for a fee.
